AGREEMENT

These terms govern your use of the Aevum Born website (aevumborn.com) and the Aevum Born mobile application (together, "Aevum Born"), operated by By Rob Studio, a sole trader based in Cornwall, United Kingdom. By using Aevum Born, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the game.

USING AEVUM BORN

You may use Aevum Born for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to disrupt it, reverse engineer it, access it through unauthorised means, or use it in any way that breaks the law.

PRE-LAUNCH AND BETA

Aevum Born is in active development. Features, content, and availability may change, and parts of the game may be incomplete, experimental, or subject to bugs. Beta and pre-launch access is provided as-is, and we make no guarantee that any particular feature will be included in a final release.

THE WAITLIST

By joining the waitlist you agree to receive occasional updates about Aevum Born by email. You can unsubscribe at any time. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to any beta, launch, or future version of the game.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content in Aevum Born, including its name, artwork, creatures, characters, lore, music, code, and visual design, is owned by By Rob Studio or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission, except where the law allows.

USER CONTENT

If Aevum Born allows you to submit content at any point, such as feedback or in-game names, you are responsible for what you submit and confirm you have the right to share it. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to use submitted feedback to improve the game. We may remove content that is unlawful, offensive, or breaches these terms.

PURCHASES

Aevum Born may include optional purchases once released. Where purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those platforms' own terms, billing, and refund policies apply in addition to these terms.

END USER LICENSE (APP STORES)

When you download Aevum Born from the Apple App Store, your licence to use the app is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. You acknowledge that this licence is between you and By Rob Studio, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of that agreement and may enforce it against you. Where these terms and Apple's standard EULA differ on your use of the app, Apple's standard EULA applies for App Store downloads. When you download Aevum Born from Google Play, Google's applicable terms apply in the same way.

AVAILABILITY

We aim to keep Aevum Born available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw, or change all or part of the service at any time, particularly during development.

DISCLAIMER

Aevum Born is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind about the service, its content, or its reliability. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, By Rob Studio will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit, or opportunity arising from your use of Aevum Born. This does not affect liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms as the game develops. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Aevum Born after a change means you accept the updated terms.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
